Bouldin Creek Café: We love Bouldin Creek Café! One of our favorite dishes is their nachos and you can’t miss their chipotle pecan pesto! You won’t believe this place is vegetarian (with many vegan options)!
People’s Pharmacy: They have a very healthy fresh soup and Gluten Free sandwiches at the bar inside. Their smoothies are wonderful as well! Stop by to stock up on vitamins and leave with a healthy lunch!
True Food Kitchen: Whether you are looking for a healthy brunch or a date night, True Food Kitchen is the perfect spot. And, even though they have healthy salads, bowls, and more . They also have cookbook if you need inspiration in the kitchen.
Cenote: With amazing coffee, delicious breakfast tacos, and a variety of other fresh, locally sourced options, Cenote is one of our favorite spots! We love their kale salad.
Juiceland: Once you have Juiceland, you will crave it! This local Austin staple has fresh juices, smoothies, food, and more. We highly recommend the Originator or Soul Boulder smoothies and their hummus is amazing!
Veracruz: If you are craving tacos, stop by Veracruz! Their fish tacos just might be the best in the city. Their ingredients are fresh, healthy, and delicious.
Casa de Luz: Everyone has to experience Casa de Luz at least once, but we recommend going as often as possible. They have a plant based menu that rotates daily along with freshly brewed teas. They also have a cookbook that you can purchase.
Picnik: Check this place out ! For menu items that you won’t believe are gluten-free, add Picnik to your list! They have a few food trailers, but we recommend also visiting their brick and mortar restaurant on Burnet Road as well – you won’t regret the visit!
